THE SIGNIFICANT OF CHRIST DEATH AND RESSURECTION | REASON FOR EASTER

                                              

I am excited to write to the great and peculiar people who are fortunate enough to read this article right now.

I bring greetings to you in the name of our lord Jesus, I have decided to write this article due to my burden for Christ and his people just as we celebrate Easter right now in Nigeria the same way its observed in the whole world today, I pray this season will bring a positive change to your lives and family.

So many people celebrate Easter in differs ways, some go to clubs, beer parlor, some hotels, pools and the likes in celebration of this season but I want to tell you the season is not ought to be celebrated this way, and I observe that people do what they do and the way they do simply because they lack understanding of God’s word and that is why I have taking it upon myself to write this article in other to make things clear and incase there is anyone wondering why we celebrate Easter or what is Easter or  what’s the significant of these season worry not; have got the answers to your questions just read along and you will be bless.

What is Easter? Easter is the most important and oldest festival of the Christian church, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ and held (in the western church) between March 21st and April 25TH, on the first Sunday after the first full moon following the northern spring equinox.

But even as much as we know the origin and what Easter his now, talking about the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus who came to this world of sin to reconcile man to God after the 1st man (adam) have sinned and disobeyed God (Genesis 2 and 3), what a merciful and compassionate God we serve! On  a normal basis, man as lost the grace to be in God’s vineyard and enjoy a mutual relationship with him but through JESUS the son of the living God we regain back access to the throne of grace and also have the gift of having the spirit of God(holy spirit) living in us.

The Death and “Ressurrection”  of Jesus is an indication of victory over five (5) major enemies of man.

Jesus resurrection gave us victory over five major enemies of man:                    

1. The first enemy of man is SATAN. He is the commander-in-chief of darkness. If Satan has his way he will ensure nothing good happens in man’s life because he is an arch-enemy of man.  The resurrection of Jesus Christ gave us victory over Satan. Say this three times “Satan I have victory over you” .
2. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is an indication of victory over DEATH. Death is an entity, Death is a spirit, it has smell. Some people can feel the smell of death. You have victory over death by the power of his resurrection. I pray for you “every smell of death, every dream of death, every arrow of death following you, because you have victory over them, let them go back to the sender in JESUS name.” say this three times “Death I have victory over you by his ressurrection”.
3. The resurrection of Jesus is an indication of victory over HELL. Hell has enlarged itself but his resurrection confirms your victory and my victory over hell. Whether the devil like it or not you are not going to hell in Jesus name’ say this three times “Hell, I have victory over you by hisressurrection”.
4. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is an indication of victory over the GRAVE, The grave is not tired of swallowing human beings. And the grave has swallowed many human beings untimely, it has swallowed so many destinies. Jesus said “Oh! Grave, I have victory over you because I was in the sepulcher for three days”  I was there on the 1st day I wrestle with the blood, I was there on the 2nd day I wrestle with the blood, and on  the 3rd day I came out of the grave although the sepulcher was shut with a stone, an angel of the lord came from above and rolled away the stone and sat upon it.  And when the disciples came into the sepulcher, he said “why are you looking for the living in the grave? He is risen amen”. Say this three times“Grave, I have victory  over you by His resurrection in the name of Jesus”
5. The fifth enemy of man which the resurrection of the lord gave us victory over is SIN. SIN set us against God. Sin is ‘Success in Nothing’, ‘Simple instruction Neglected’, ‘Satan Inspired Nature’. Jesus carried the sin and went to the cross, the lamb without blemish. In Exodus 12, Jesus became that Lamb, innocent, without blemish without sin, and he went to the cross and gave us victory over sin. Say this three times, “Sin, I have victory over you because of His ressurrection”.

Do you want to free from the five enemies of man? 

This cannot be so if you are not a friend of God. You must accept Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour and Lord.

Pray like this: Lord, I confess that I am a sinner. I confess you as my personal Lord and savior. Come into my life and deliver me from these enemies of man.
