TOPIC: THE BLESSING OF DIVINE DIRECTION
TEXT: Psalm 85:5
INTRODUCTION
The Scripture makes it clear that the Blessing of God travels in the direction of God’s Voice (Psalm 23:1-6). You cannot be connected to God’s Voice and lack the good things of life. When God speaks, His Blessing flows. It is therefore a blessed thing to receive direction from God.
In our study today, we shall look at the connection between the Blessing and the Voice of God.
Now, what are the Blessings of Divine Direction?
B. THE BLESSING OF DIVINE DIRECTION
1. Divine direction connects a person to the realm of supernatural provision (Matthew 17:26-27).
When you are connected to God’s Voice, you are connected to Divine provision. God’s voice is key to supernatural financial harvest. If you work for God and hears His Voice, He pays your bills.God directs in order to provide.
2. Divine Direction is the escape route for human frustration (John 2:6-10)
To neglect God’s Direction is to abide in frustration. One direction from God can move a person from frustration to satisfaction.
3. Direction delivers from destruction (2 Kings 4:38-41)
You cannot be a victim of death and destruction if you are connected to God’s Voice. To be connected to God’s Voice is to escape the deaths, decays and destructions of life.
C. COUNSEL
Make up your mind to connect Divine Direction in order to be blessed in life.
D. FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Hearing the voice of God is for the benefit of man.
E. PRACTICAL APPLICATION
Draw nearer to God in order to hear His Voice.
